An atmospheric fine-art print from my ongoing Skomvær series, inspired by the remote landscape of Lofoten, Norway.
In this painting, the Skomvær lighthouse emerges from a vast northern seascape beneath a changing sky. Soft layers of colour, distant mountains and open water create a quiet, contemplative atmosphere characteristic of the Lofoten coast.
The Skomvær series has a deeply personal connection for me. My great-grandmother's diary from 1896–1900 records her experiences connected with Skomvær, and I have been exploring this remote place through watercolour for several years.
This reproduction is made from my original watercolour painting and is available as a premium fine-art paper print, with optional passepartout and natural oak framing.
