Tina Tuna
Yes really! :)
Tina was finished on the day that the iconic Tina Turner passed onto her next adventure.
Tina conveys vulnerability and hardiness. Determination, inquisitiveness, prowess. Beauty, colour and a wonderful depth. Resilient and accomplished. All qualities I associate with the namesake of this piece.
There is evident movement, speed even. A swift adjustment by the mere flick of her tail.
I love the dynamism of this piece. The original is acrylic on artist's card, 130 x 150cm and is still available - contact me on art@alainvangils.com.
An evocative piece that would be a powerful addition to any interior.
- Acid- and lignin-free and made to last.
- The natural finish enhances vibrancy and depth.
- Textured matte surface that enhances depth without losing clarity.
- Handmade wooden frame from Italy.
Also available as a print on canvas here on Printumo and as a signed limited edition via art@alainvangils.com

About me
First, a heartfelt welcome to my Printumo site.
I have a deep passion for the Animal Kingdom, and want to share the possibility of hanging my bold, expressive and above all colourful, Animal Portraits on your walls.
I have had many requests from people who don't have the space (most of my paintings are very large) or the investment required for either an original painting or signed limited edition print for an alternative option.
In Printumo I have found that option and I'm very pleased to be able to share my passion with a wider audience.
These high quality canvas and paper prints will bring joy, a smile and colour to your personal space, and I thank you for your custom.
