Presented in full profile against a warm ochre-gold landscape, Kamadhenu, the divine cow, moves calmly through a lotus garden rendered in the spirit of classical Pichwai painting. The balanced composition and restrained palette evoke a sense of peace, contemplation, and sacred presence.
The artwork has been developed through a contemporary digital process, with extensive artistic enhancement, layered textures, and graphic software-assisted impasto detailing. Rich ochres, soft ivory tones, and ornamental floral elements create depth and atmosphere.
Hand-enhanced, Shanta becomes a meditation. The artist works back into the lotus field with oil and acrylic — petals given volume and individual presence, the ochre ground enriched with warm glazes that shift between terracotta and gold as the light changes through the day.

About the Artist
I am a contemporary artist driven by a lifelong fascination with the spiritual, the symbolic and the ancient. Trained in fine arts, I have spent decades developing a practice rooted equally in deep research and painterly instinct.
My subjects are never chosen lightly. Whether drawing from ancient cosmologies, sacred geometry or spiritual traditions spanning cultures and centuries, I immerse myself in the history and meaning of a subject long before the work takes visual form — tracing its origins, understanding its symbols and finding its modern resonance.
The works that emerge are mixed media on canvas — richly layered, hand-finished in oils and acrylics, built with a surface depth that rewards close looking. Each piece carries the weight of what went into it.
Based in the UK, I work with an international collector base and welcome bespoke commissions for those seeking a work created around a specific intention, space or subject.
