Solitude

My life as an artist is a map painted with broad, adventurous strokes. Born and raised in Scotland, my earliest memory of art dates to around age five or six, when my father gave me, a beautiful wooden box filled with Indian inks and two paintbrushes. That gift planted the seed of a lifelong passion—one that earned me my first art prize just a few years later, at the age of eight. As a student in Glasgow's West End, that passion expanded boldly when I painted my first wall mural across two walls and part of the ceiling.
After, motherhood, travelling and a career.

Now, settled in the sun-drenched light of Perpignan, I have come full circle. I am back at the easel, painting with the wisdom of a life richly lived and a passion that has never faded.
