The Fab Five - Ostriches
This is one of my first large scale charcoal sketches and a firm signed limited edition print favourite (3 remain. Enquire here, art@alainvangils.com - the original is sold).
Ringo (top right) is the ring leader, and owns the only colour in this print. The watchful ladies at left and the youngsters in the centre create a very lively piece.
The collective are a talking point each and every time they are seen and one almost feels as if they are about to physically enter the room.
One of my favourites.
This print:
- Poly-cotton blend canvas with a matte/satin finish. Scratch, crack, and warp resistant.
- Vibrant, long-lasting colors with water-based HP Latex inks and UV protection.
- Solid wooden frame from renewable sources, 4 cm deep.
Also available as a fine art paper print here on Printumo and signed limited edition via art@alainvangils.com

About me
First, a heartfelt welcome to my Printumo site.
I have a deep passion for the Animal Kingdom, and want to share the possibility of hanging my bold, expressive and above all colourful, Animal Portraits on your walls.
I have had many requests from people who don't have the space (most of my paintings are very large) or the investment required for either an original painting or signed limited edition print for an alternative option.
In Printumo I have found that option and I'm very pleased to be able to share my passion with a wider audience.
These high quality canvas and paper prints will bring joy, a smile and colour to your personal space, and I thank you for your custom.
