This painting was created by laying down some colour first and letting it dry. I then covered the colours in black and removed parts of the black layer to create the coloured images. The work is called DJ because there are musical notes and vinyl records depicted in the coloured areas. The idea behind this piece is that music can bring colour to the darkness.
If you like this painting enough to hang it on your wall, I hope it brings you much joy. x
