Welcome — I’m Gareth Parkes, a wildlife artist and photographer. My work begins long before the brush touches the canvas: in the field, watching the quiet moments that most people never see. Dawn light over the estuary, a leopard resting in the branches, the hush before a storm on the coast — these are the experiences that shape my paintings.
