The 2019–2020 Black Summer bushfires stand as one of Australia’s gravest ecological disasters, impacting an estimated three billion animals. This unprecedented loss of wildlife underscores the urgent global reality of climate change and highlights our profound responsibility to protect, restore, and preserve our fragile natural ecosystems.
I made this painting during those bushfires.
