Structure and Overflow Print

‘Structure and Overflow’ shows motion held mid-impact. Acid yellow bursts out from the centre like light or a thought, and deep green lines cut straight through it, not to contain it, but to intersect. The paint is thick in places, bubbling and textured, and thin in others, letting the white canvas breathe. Shapes layer over each other without trying to blend. A square holds the brightest yellow, but even that can’t keep it from spilling past the edges.

This piece of art also shows intensity without apology. It’s structure and overflow existing at the same time — the green bars trying to make a grid, the yellow refusing to stay inside it. There is no single path for the eye to follow. You bounce, you loop, you land on a bright spot and get pulled out again. It doesn’t ask to be calmed down or organized. It’s complete because it’s energetic, layered, and a little uncontainable..
