‘Unfixed Symmetry’ Print

‘Unfixed Symmetry’ reflects the experience of a mind that moves in multiple currents at once. The fluid swirls of black, white, and metallic gold spread outward in sharp, branching forms, never settling into a single direction. That push-and-pull feels familiar to neurodivergent ways of thinking, where ideas branch, intersect, and re-emerge in unexpected places. What might look like disruption from a distance is actually a system of connections - each line and ripple holding its own path while contributing to the whole. The gold anchors the movement, like moments of clarity or intensity that stand out against the shifting background of thought.

There’s also a tension between structure and release that resonates here. The paint has been guided but not fully controlled, allowing textures and cracks to form as it settles. For many neurodivergent people, expression works the same way: there’s an underlying framework, but the most authentic moments happen when that framework allows for spontaneity, sensory release, and variation. The piece doesn’t try to resolve into neat symmetry. Instead, it shows that complexity and contrast can create something cohesive and compelling, honoring a way of being that values depth, movement, and non-linear beauty.

This piece of art is ideal for enthusiasts and collectors who appreciate intricate and visually appealing designs or those looking for a statement piece that adds a touch of elegance to any space.
