NO NUKES is a deeply impactful, heavily layered collage created on a 12-inch vinyl record sleeve. Built around a message of peace and protection, this piece speaks to the desire for safe, unconditional love in a world free from destruction, bombs, and noise.
As part of my collection exploring grief and healing through art, the background is rich with tactile detail and history. Intricate fragments of iconic Liberty Print are woven among vintage song sheets, strips of tape, paint, and torn pieces of my own past original artwork. Powerful words cut through the chaotic layers, while a hand-placed diamante teardrop catches the light, bringing the weight of grief and raw human emotion straight out of the surface.
NO NUKES stands out as a fearless statement piece that balances a tender plea for safety with a bold, artistic resistance. Every ripped paper edge and hidden detail holds memory, hope, and deep personal meaning. I have now decided to give these deeply personal works a new home where their stories can live on. I loved creating the original version of this artwork, and I’m so happy to now offer prints of it.
