I keep coming back to water. There's something about that place where the shoreline breaks apart, all that thick white texture piling up like foam or old pilings worn down by years of tide, set against gold light spilling across the horizon. I built up the white in heavy layers, almost sculpting it, because I wanted it to feel like something you could reach out and touch, not just look at.
I'm calling this one "Low Tide" that quiet moment when the water pulls back and shows you what's usually hidden underneath. Turquoise, gold, and a streak of deep indigo doing all the talking.
This is one of those pieces that feels like a held breath. Hope it finds a wall where it belongs
