4 pictures have been released as a socially critical edition with the titles: 1. Theme 'Courage & Impatience', 2. Theme 'Ego', 3. Theme 'Isolated', and 4. Theme 'The Raven'.
1. Theme 'Courage & Impatience':
Image description: The bottom third is designed as a massive, black chasm, down which a curved, light gray staircase descends. At the top edge of this cliff stands a row of black silhouettes outlined in white, in dynamic, sometimes gesturing poses. In this part of the series, the gold leaf appears as a narrow, elegant finishing strip along the top edge of the image.
Image Analysis:
1. (Courage & Impatience)
Composition: A dramatic, vertical inversion of weights; the dominant black block at the bottom forms a strong foundation for the delicate, narrative chain of figures in the center.
Color and Light: The stark black-and-white contrast at the bottom is softened by the gray tones of the stair steps, while the gold leaf at the top acts as a narrow, reflective crown of light.
Texture: The matte, sharp-edged quality of the deep black acrylic beam stands in direct material contrast to the lively, metallic-rough texture of the gilded upper edge.
Perspective: The shortened, curved steps of the staircase create, for the first time, a real architectural sense of depth, directing the viewer’s gaze into the suggested abyss.
Interpretation:
• A sharp divide splits society into two irreconcilably opposing camps.
• The bright staircase offers a way out, but everyone involved ignores it.
• While the left group hesitates, the right pushes forward impatiently.
• The work critiques how blind activism and passivity block constructive solutions.

About the Artist
Hello dear art friends!
I’m Walter from Germany and a lover of contemporary art. Nowadays, the creative possibilities with digital graphics and image editing programs have become a true enrichment for creative inspiration.
That’s why my motto, "We’ll see each other in another world," has become so vivid.
This applies especially to the surrealist and geometric art styles. Art is a lifelong passion for me, and I enjoy creating creativity in my free time.
Classical paintings with Acryl, Oil, Airbrush, Silk or Pencil are also in my portfolio and posted only in my Gallery linked by "Welcome to Walter's Gallery!"
