This piece is an expression of energy when the body itself is in an enforced state of stillness.
When my health limits my physical movement, the energy inside me doesn’t disappear. It builds and needs somewhere to go. When words won’t come, painting becomes another kind of movement.
With a palette knife and colour, that internal energy finds its way outward - an exchange of energy made visible on canvas.
