Nellie the Elephant.
Those that know know ;)
The original acrylic on canvas, 250 x 140cm (sold), was one of the first truly large pieces I painted. More abstract than previous paintings Nellie was a very intuitive painting. I simply followed his instructions once the eyes of the charcoal drawing were complete. I understand that the name is perhaps somewhat counter-intuitive for an African Bull Elephant, it was however also chosen, during the process, by the subject. Perhaps in jest or as a light-hearted contretemps.
Nellie has presence. He is incontrovertibly here, now, and is inviting you to join him. Naturally wise and asking you to step into that same space, to connect to your inner best version of yourself.
Nellie makes a fine addition to any interior.
This print:

About me
First, a heartfelt welcome to my Printumo site.
I have a deep passion for the Animal Kingdom, and want to share the possibility of hanging my bold, expressive and above all colourful, Animal Portraits on your walls.
I have had many requests from people who don't have the space (most of my paintings are very large) or the investment required for either an original painting or signed limited edition print for an alternative option.
In Printumo I have found that option and I'm very pleased to be able to share my passion with a wider audience.
These high quality canvas and paper prints will bring joy, a smile and colour to your personal space, and I thank you for your custom.
