Mathilda the meditating female Gorilla
Mathilda is one of my all-time favourites. The original acrylic on canvas painting, 150x150cm (sold), always inspires a mirrored serenity in the observer, and this print (also available as a fine art paper print here at Printumo, and as a signed limited edition - contact me at art@alainvangils.com for details), has the same effect.
A deeply calming feeling of Zen, of being at peace with the world and profoundly present emanates from this painting (print) and makes a fine addition to any interior.

About me
First, a heartfelt welcome to my Printumo site.
I have a deep passion for the Animal Kingdom, and want to share the possibility of hanging my bold, expressive and above all colourful, Animal Portraits on your walls.
I have had many requests from people who don't have the space (most of my paintings are very large) or the investment required for either an original painting or signed limited edition print for an alternative option.
In Printumo I have found that option and I'm very pleased to be able to share my passion with a wider audience.
These high quality canvas and paper prints will bring joy, a smile and colour to your personal space, and I thank you for your custom.
