Interpretation  
The interpretation of the title "One Way Street" can be understood on several levels:  
Visual guidance: The lines of the crosswalk and the stepped tunnel act like an optical pull. The eye is irresistibly directed in a single direction – into the interior of the object. There is no visual escape.  
The traffic light paradox: The traffic light shows the signal to go, yet the path leads straight into a wall or an abstract structure. This symbolizes a dead end or a direction that is predetermined without the goal being clearly visible.  
Metaphor for time or progress: The breaking wall and the view into the universe suggest an irreversible journey. It represents time or a life decision that can only move forward (like a one-way street) and never backward.

Interpretation
Interpretation des Titels "One Way Street" („Einbahnstraße“) lässt sich auf mehreren Ebenen interpretieren:
Visuelle Führung: Die Linien des Zebrastreifens und der stufenartige Tunnel wirken wie ein optischer Sog. Der Blick wird unaufhaltsam in eine einzige Richtung – ins Innere des Objekts – gelenkt. Es gibt kein visuelles Entkommen.
Das Ampel-Paradoxon: Die Ampel zeigt das Signal zum Gehen, doch der Weg führt direkt in eine Wand bzw. in ein abstraktes Konstrukt. Dies symbolisiert eine Sackgasse oder eine Richtung, die vorgegeben ist, ohne dass das Ziel klar erkennbar ist.
Metapher für Zeit oder Fortschritt: Die aufbrechende Wand und der Blick ins Universum deuten auf eine unumkehrbare Reise hin. Es steht für die Zeit oder eine Lebensentscheidung, die nur vorwärts (als Einbahnstraße) und niemals rückwärts verlaufen kann.

Bildbeschreibung
Ein grafisch gestalteter, schwarz-weiß gestreifter Quader mit einem tiefen, stufenartigen Tunnel steht im Zentrum eines surrealen Raums . Er bricht durch eine weiße Wand und legt dahinter eine Backsteinmauer sowie einen farbigen, leuchtenden Sternenhimmel frei. Ein gemusterter Asphaltweg im Vordergrund führt auf das Objekt zu, flankiert von einer Fußgängerampel mit blau leuchtendem Gehmännchen.
