This canvas print is based on an original mixed-media artwork created using paper, thread and paint.
The composition combines drawn colour fields with fragments of paper stitched together by a red thread. The swirling green surface suggests movement or a shifting landscape, while the red circle forms a quiet centre of gravity. The thread traces a path across the image, connecting fragments and creating a sense of tension between disruption and repair.
Printed on a durable poly-cotton blend canvas with a soft matte-satin finish, the artwork is reproduced using water-based HP Latex inks, ensuring vibrant, long-lasting colours with UV protection.
The canvas is stretched over a solid wooden frame, 4 cm deep, made from responsibly sourced timber, creating a ready-to-hang piece that brings the layered character of the original work into your space.

About the Artist
Hello, I’m Vica, an artist based in Glasgow. I create mixed-media artworks and prints using materials such as paper, paint, thread and collage.
My work often combines simple figures, patterns and bold colour fields. I’m interested in how marks, lines and repeated shapes can suggest signals, movement and the ways we find our place within different systems and environments.
Each piece begins as an original handmade artwork, and the prints allow these works to travel into new spaces and homes.
Thank you for taking the time to explore my work and for supporting independent artists.
