“Mexican Influence” is built as a symbolic map.
It does not represent one single moment or region — it is a visual tapestry where the ancestral and the contemporary coexist.

Each fragment acts as a cultural heartbeat.
Calendrical references, sacred animals, masks, geometric patterns, florals, solar symbols and architectural echoes are not isolated elements; they overlap, merge and converse — just as Mexican identity itself does.

The piece does not aim to simplify a vast culture. Instead, it embraces its complexity.

The strong black line and radical contrast remove color to focus on structure, symbolism, and the weight of each graphic decision. The visual density becomes a form of homage: the longer you look, the more layers reveal themselves.

“Respect the Culture” emerges from admiration
from understanding that every culture is a profound universe shaped by history, resilience, spirituality and art.

This piece is a visual synthesis of that richness:
a statement that design can also be reverence.

About the Artist

Ramiro Dramis is a visual artist exploring the tension between strength and vulnerability, instinct and discipline, destruction and rebirth.
Drawing from romanticism, Japanese philosophy, and diverse cultural traditions, his work transforms mythic figures, dragons, samurai, wolves, or tigers into psychological archetypes of resilience and inner awakening.
Working in bold blacks, intense reds, and deliberate negative space, he creates pieces that feel forged rather than painted. Each line carries weight. Each symbol holds intention.
His art does not seek to decorate a space, but to confront it — inviting reflection, presence, and inner dialogue.
