(Gallery Collection 20) ‘Parallel Processing’

‘Parallel Processing’ hits like a dopamine grid. Twenty distinct marks, each one a different mix of color, none of them blended into submission. They sit on the white field like thought fragments or sensory snapshots. Every stroke is decisive and isolated. Bright yellow against black. Magenta bleeding into teal. Orange rimmed with pink. From a neurodiversity lens, this is what a day feels like when your brain processes in parallel. Joy does not queue up in a single line. It fires off in bursts, one channel at a time. Each mark is a moment: a texture, a sound, a color that punched through the noise.

The spacing is the point. These are not touching. There is white space around every single experience, because overlap would mean overload. This is how a neurodivergent system handles intensity. It compartmentalises. It catalogues. It gives each input its own square to breathe in before the next one hits. The palette refuses to be muted. Unmasked joy, unfiltered attention, and unapologetic color sit side by side without competing. This is not chaos. It is a filing system for aliveness. Each stroke says "I noticed this" and the grid says "I survived all of them."
