Eat, Pray, Love is inspired by Naples — an intense and pulsating city where beauty, chaos, history and everyday life exist side by side.
The work brings together a photograph taken in one of Naples’ narrow streets, fragments of text, hand-drawn faces, collage and vivid fields of yellow, green and pink. Like the walls of the city itself, the surface is layered with traces of stories, emotions and everyday life. Diego Maradona — whose presence remains deeply woven into Naples’ visual identity — appears in the photograph among graffiti and other marks left behind.
The different elements overlap and interrupt one another, creating a visual chorus inspired by the raw, spontaneous energy of Naples.

About the Artist
I am a Norwegian visual artist based in Oslo, working with painting, photography, collage, and mixed media.
I am drawn to stories – to people who carry them, places that hold them, and the traces they leave behind. The smooth and flawless hold little interest for me. I look for what bears the marks of life.
Working intuitively and in layers, I build up and break down, add and scrape away, allowing earlier traces to become part of what follows. My work moves between the recognisable and the abstract, exploring memory, place, and lived experience while leaving space for the viewer to find stories of their own.
