El viaje 9

The image suggests a human figure in the process of dissolution, where multiple faces emerge and merge into a single body. The fluid distortions and undulating strokes evoke an internal struggle: different versions of the self vying for definition. The intense, almost visceral red introduces an emotional charge that oscillates between passion and anguish.
A figurative base is perceptible, reminiscent of classical compositions—possibly a dramatic scene—but it is altered by a digital or gestural distortion that disrupts the original harmony. The multiplied faces and the dramatic use of color recall the Baroque, while the distortion introduces a contemporary interpretation of the fragmentation of perception.
Crafted using advanced digital techniques, “El viaje 9” offers a luminous finish that enhances its palette. The harmonious layering of hues evoke both energy and tranquility, making this artwork a versatile statement piece for modern interiors.
