This atmospheric winter landscape is dominated by soft blues, punctuated with the deep spruce green and the darkness of a deep shadowed wood. Wintergreen is a peaceful abstract landscape that will add the wonder of nature's palette to any room.

I live by a salt marsh, next to the wild wild Atlantic coastline of Cape Breton Island. Winter landscapes are often almost monotone, with cloudy skies denying nature its true glorious colours. But on a sunny day, with the ground covered in snow, the colours burst forth from woods so thickly populated by spruce that it is impossible to walk through, except on the delicate paths carved by woodland creatures.
