About the Artist
Alex Spence is an artist, illustrator, and poet whose work avoids established styles, often focusing on uncertainty and transformation. Their art explores the uneasy balance between endings and beginnings, with a sense that what comes next is unclear and unsettling. This latest project, “Distillation” delves into the transformation of memory and loss into meaning. This work serves as both a meditation and a reference point, distilling the central themes that echo throughout Spence’s artistic practice.
