This piece, comes straight from my walks along the Jurassic Coast.
It’s built entirely from thousands of hand-placed ovals and circles—plus the occasional wavy line—creating the moon, sky, and foaming waves in a single calming teal palette.
The moon glows softly from overlapping circles, the horizon stays clean and steady, and the sea below captures that restless, lacy energy of breaking waves and receding tide—all abstracted but rooted in real observation.
The repetition feels meditative to me, like footsteps or breaths along the shore. It’s quiet, immersive, and perfect for spaces that want calm presence without literal realism.
