The square format of the digital print enhances the sense of balance and symmetry and reinforces the repetition, creating a visual experience that draws the viewer in for a closer examination. The muted color palette adds depth and nuance, further enriching the narrative woven into the piece. Viewers are encouraged to unravel the threads of symbolism.

Created in Photoshop using photographs of collages I made several years ago, the images echo those chance press combinations. Layers repeat, shift, and accumulate, building intensity through pattern and recurrence. 

I have always been drawn to the quiet power of repetition. A single, ordinary image—seen again and again—can shift in meaning.
