Being creative is so much fun, especially when you're stoked with the end result. But the process, man - it can be pretty challenging most of the time, because I never start with an idea or concept.
I just roll the dice and pick bits of the developing artwork I like to either keep or explore further. The many hundreds of decisions and mistakes all blend into a spontaneous pot where days of effort and thought disappear into the painting.
I’m digging the textural bliss and shades of pink. Clearly I’m in a softer, calm and sexy phase.

About the Artist
David Spencer's is a talented artist who grew up in WA's North West back in the 70s, and he pours all that personal history into work that really hits home emotionally. With 18 solo shows plus 60-odd group exhibitions under his belt.
