About the Artist
Beverley Garrett is a painter, printmaker, and digital artist based in Sandwich, Kent in the United Kingdom. She received a BA (First Class) and MA in Fine Art from Canterbury Christ Church University in 2004 and 2007, respectively. Her artworks have been exhibited both nationally and internationally, and have been acquired by private and corporate collections around the world. Originally specialising in large colour etchings, her work has more recently shifted to digital and mixed media landscapes. Beverley combines unorthodox techniques and a painterly touch to create atmospheric, organic works on paper and canvas that are deeply evocative of the essence or memory of her chosen locations. Beverley often work in series, making works that can be hung individually or as part of a coherent group.
