Bob, affectionately known as GG (Grumpy Gorilla), is a mountain gorilla.
He might be grumpy as he hasn't achieved full silver-back status, or because he's sitting in a photographic studio having his picture taken. Who knows.
He does however have a phenomenal amount of charisma and is sure to put a smile on your face, as he does mine, each time I see him.
The original is acrylic on canvas, sized 90 x 150cm and is still available (3480 € - drop me an email here, art@alainvangils.com when interested).
This print:
- Poly-cotton blend canvas with a matte/satin finish. Scratch, crack, and warp resistant.
- Vibrant, long-lasting colors with water-based HP Latex inks and UV protection.
- Solid wooden frame from renewable sources, 4 cm deep.
Also available as a fine art paper print here on Printumo and signed limited edition via art@alainvangils.com

About me
First, a heartfelt welcome to my Printumo site.
I have a deep passion for the Animal Kingdom, and want to share the possibility of hanging my bold, expressive and above all colourful, Animal Portraits on your walls.
I have had many requests from people who don't have the space (most of my paintings are very large) or the investment required for either an original painting or signed limited edition print for an alternative option.
In Printumo I have found that option and I'm very pleased to be able to share my passion with a wider audience.
These high quality canvas and paper prints will bring joy, a smile and colour to your personal space, and I thank you for your custom.
